CFCI Presents Goodwill with Grant
Goodwill of Central Illinois has been awarded a $15,000 grant to be used for client assistance in its Employment Program.
“Earlier this year we received a grant from CFCI for the fight against COVID-19. Now it’s time to get back to business and once again Mark Roberts and CFCI are there with support,” said Goodwill President and CEO, Don Johnson. “This funding supports our Employment Services Program, which is so important right now.”
Goodwill’s Employment Program provides a holistic approach to finding employment for its participants. A major component of the program is Goodwill’s relationships with hundreds of local employers. This coupled with computer skills training, assistance in resume writing, and soft skills training provides a solid base for anyone looking for employment. As with all Goodwill services this program is free.
